Rishta vs SukhMilan
SukhMilan (sukhmilan.com.au) serves the same community we do, and it is good that someone else is building here. The two products make opposite choices on the things that decide whether women join, so it is worth seeing them side by side.

Why the difference matters
A public browse page is the fastest way to grow a men’s list and the fastest way to lose the women. In a community as small as ours, a woman’s cousin, colleague and the man from the gurdwara can all find her card without so much as an account.
Rishta takes them at their word: nothing public, photos on her approval, contact details never on the page, every interest written by hand, and a matchmaker who is never from her city. If that is the kind of place you would be comfortable sending your sister to, it is the right place for you too.
